Curious about Jerry Seinfeld Car collection?

Can’t say I blame you.

America’s fascination with the iconic multi-millionaire comedian Jerry Seinfeld isn’t only fixed on his gags and one-liners but also his insane auto collection!

With a net worth of over $950 million, Little Jerry gets to play around as much as he likes with his one-of-a-kind selection of speedy coupes, old rides, classy muscles, and new whips!

While Jerry’s Collection may be modest in comparison to others with just about 150 cars, he has the world’s most extensive Porsche collection there is!

Today, this article tells you what you need to know about the collection that’s reportedly auctioned off once for a whopping $22 million!

Get ready to enjoy these babies as we take you on a million-dollar sightseeing trip.

Start your engines…

Come and let’s have a look from the bottom up!

Seinfeld is a man who naturally makes a lasting impression by strutting his stuff – and collecting cars is what he does with all his money.

You’ll get the idea as you go through this list.

He’s the type who isn’t afraid to let go of some of his collection to make room for better, more expensive ones.

This classic 1960 Volkswagen bug was the show-stopper out of all the cars sold once before at a charity auction.

This beetle had an appraisal value of $30,000, but Jerry earned four times as much – he managed to rake in a whopping $121,000!

What an effort!

But frankly, this auto pales in comparison to the rest of the cars you’ll see on this list.

This cutie is a BMW Isetta 300.

Funnily enough, this piece got front-page attention when the comedian of an owner got himself into a hilarious pickle.

Here’s how the story went…

It was a great day for a photoshoot in New York’s West Village.

As always, Jerry gave bystanders a chuckle with the help of a miniature BMW, giving him a squeeze that may have been a tad too tight.

Guess who stole the show in this episode of Comedians in Cars?

Jerry, the 69 year-old and his untimely struggle getting out of a pint-sized coup.

This 1964 Camper Conversion is part of Seinfeld’s list of outrageous auction sales, which sold for $99,000.

With this cozy-looking ride, even his kids loved it as they drove around the city for some lox and bagels.

The camper’s complete with an installed all-around kitchen inside too.

And you know what?

Jerry and his kids got into trouble with the police once by setting up a cute lemonade stand by the side of the road (which is supposedly illegal).

But who wouldn’t?

Don’t be a stick in the mud, officer.

37. 1957 Fiat 500

Fiat vehicles are Seinfeld’s favorites along with Porsche – especially their minimalistic appeal.

The only difference is that one’s Italian and the other one’s German.

Our next car’s just that.

This 1957 Fiat has a top speed of 53mph and is known to be one of the first few downtown cars ever built.

It’s popular among shade-tree mechanics for its basic engine and hipster appeal.

This guy’s tucked safely away in an underground three-story warehouse with Jerry’s own New York fleet management team.

It’s incredible what you can do with money. If I only had even just half of what he has.

36. 1964 MORGAN PLUS 4

<a href="https://bouncemojo.com"><img src="https://bouncemojo.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Jerry-Seinfeld-Car-Collection-05.jpg" alt="Jerry Seinfeld" ></a>

Seinfeld’s Morgan Plus 4 is Morgan Motor Company’s entry as the most powerful car in the 1960s.

By the looks of it, this one’s vintage!

This model graced the production floor from 1950 to 1969 using the previous 44 models as inspo.

They revised every nook and cranny to perfection. The first model got out in 1985 and rebooted still in 2005.

These guys never let up.

The Morgan Plus 4 has a 2088-cc standard Vanguard engine solidified by a 4/4 chassis and hydraulic brakes.

What makes Jerry’s auto a tier above the rest is its ash wood frame, four-speed manual gearbox, and 105 horsepower engine.

Termites won’t be a problem, for sure!

35. 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

The 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville is a star on its own.

This sweet ride got showcased on Jerry’s show Comedians in Cars with Coffee.

Have you seen this episode? It’s the one that also featured the classic Don Rickles.

The car’s interior is made with stunning upholstery in a 1950s green that highlights the huge steering – one that’s iconic for every vintage Cadillac.

On the other hand…

… the outside has an artistic grill design with a unique toothy caricature that ultimately seals the deal.

It’s safe to assume this classic ride’s value is based on its previous owners – legendary Bill Graham, Frank Sinatra, and Ronald Reagan.

34. 1962 Volkswagen Bus

The 1962 VW Bus is another car in the collection with a unique history.

When Michael Richards got invited to Jerry’s show Seinfeld, the reunion car chosen was this 1962 Vintage Volkswagen.

Why?

They say the car’s personality and overall appeal is just like Michael’s. It’s an eccentric ride with a rear that’s a bus, van, and pick-up all in one!

The outside may be rusty and worn-out, but the interior features sleek new technology.

Gorgeous!

As this collection will NEVER have a Lexus (because Jerry hates it), it will always and mostly be of Ferraris.

A Colombo V12 engine powers this 250,000-dollar 1971 Ferrari. And it’s not all the time you get to ride in one.

Amy Schumer is just lucky!

In an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry took Amy off for a spin in this Daytona GTB/4.

It reportedly scared the poor woman to death as the pedal hit the floor!

Note to self: Ferraris are fast.

Another note to self: You can’t afford a Ferrari.

32. 1970 Porsche 911S

1970 Porsche 911S

<a href="https://bouncemojo.com"><img src="https://bouncemojo.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Jerry-Seinfeld-Car-Collection-09.jpg" alt="Jerry Seinfeld" ></a>

FYI, the entire car collection got auctioned off in Florida by a private company for $22 million, so there’s bound to be some high-caliber Porsches in the mix.

This particular 911S Porsche is a collector’s item ranging from $37,000 to $58,000.

Jerry’s 1853 is worth about $100,000, and his 66 Cabriolet is at $160,000. Compare these two with the 911 Henry, and you’ll know it’s a steal.

It gives you your money’s worth with its all-around independent suspension and a six-cylinder boxer engine mounted in the rear.

It’s quite the looker too. You’ll often see this little car at Monte Carlo rallies. Check it out yourself.

31. 1957 Fiat 500

<a href="https://bouncemojo.com"><img src="https://bouncemojo.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Jerry-Seinfeld-Car-Collection-10.jpg" alt="Jerry Seinfeld" ></a>

Another 1957 Fiat 500…

… only this time, the top got taken off for a younger and sporty vibe.

A cute fabric number is added to the touch instead to shield “bald heads from the sun,” as Jerry playfully worded out.

Blank Doors – which are doors with a cutaway style – gives the car a more open feel. You quickly know where Jerry’s heading with the visuals.

The Fiat 500 also gives off style hints from its earlier version – the Fiat 126.

Since the 500 was made between 1957 up until 1975, the resemblance is uncanny in some angles.

It’s still part of the collection today…

… even after Jerry crashed it in a minor accident back in 2008.

I knew it! Only rich people crash expensive cars – deliberately, at least!

30. 1949 Porsche 356

<a href="https://bouncemojo.com"><img src="https://bouncemojo.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Jerry-Seinfeld-Car-Collection-11.jpg" alt="Jerry Seinfeld" ></a>

What’s unique about our next car is how all of its parts are original. And that’s almost unbelievable for any vehicle in the 21st century.

Jerry’s 1949 Porsche 356 is the 40th car ever built by its factory in Gmund Austria. Each panel was meticulously hammered by hand into its final form and shape.

This is probably the reason why it’s so spendy. Getting your hands on one would have to be considered to be a splurge – unless you’re Jerry Seinfeld.

And what better way to show it off than two famous comedic personalities riding it around the streets of Los Angeles?

Jay Leno and Seinfeld are, no doubt, big Porsche fans. And with these two together, the auto’s popularity skyrockets even more.

29. 1967 AUSTIN-HEALEY 3000 MK III

If you’ve read ‘till here, you probably got the idea that Jerry picks up his guests in style.

In this case, the 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 MK III got to drive another famous funny man around (Ricky Gervais) for an episode in Jerry’s car and coffee series.

With 150 horsepower in a straight-six engine, we NOW know that Ricky scares quite easily by speedy things.

Thank you, Healey!

Watch Episode 2 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and you’ll see just what I’m talking about!

Are you curious about the car Jerry calls “Pure Heaven?”

This all-original 1966 Porsche is endowed with a sand-colored body echoed into the interior.

Yep, no mistake there.

It has, and I quote, “never been taken apart, repainted, or rebuilt.” It’s one of the few units that’s never meant for the road nor driven to exhaustion.

It’s for the show. And it’s possible. I mean, who would use a car that’s valued up to $200,000 to $300,000? Seriously?

But here’s the kicker…

… Jerry got $275,000 for it at an auction.

Not bad.

History Checkpoint: The 1958 Porsche 597 Jagdwagen was the company’s way to rebuild the German military with newfound engines.

During the 1950s, German car manufacturers had to bump heads to reinvent themselves for the sake of viability.

This is the beauty of pressure.

And so, Porsche submitted tons of prototype proposals for a military vehicle. They thought of an all-terrain machine equipped with a Porsche 356 engine that passed quality control with flying colors.

All these features make the Jagdwagen a valuable collector’s item.

After several years of hanging on to this babe, Seinfeld placed this piece at an auction and got $330,000!

Not bad, right? Now, on to the next car!

Just like the rest of Jerry’s faves, this 1963 Coupe also made an appearance in the TV Show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

This isn’t just another pretty sports car. It was known to be the pack of the litter in 1963. This unit is one of the 15 Porsches Jerry sold at auction that earned him more than $22 million!

Don’t feel sorry for him yet.

He may have sold some, but he’ has plenty left!

Tucked three levels below Manhattan’s grounds is where Seinfeld houses his expensive hordes – including this one.

On number 25 is the rare 1994 Porsche 964 Turbo. This little babe is a unique transformation out of the 1990 Stuttgart.

It started in 1991…

… when the 964 turbos launched and carried an alternative of the 3.3 L turbocharge flat-six lifted engine from the 930 turbos.

Yes, it’s a mouthful but bear with me here…

The next year, they tweaked the issue in horsepower.

Years after that – in 1993 and 1994 – they finally made a monumental breakthrough with the 360-hp engine. Engineers modified the car’s shape and added a unique code on its engine routed to the rear wheels by a five-speed manual transmission.

And there you have it, the 1994 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 S Flachbau.

24. 1963 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

Next on the list is a car with many secrets…

The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is powered by a stunning compact four-cylinder engine with breaks and suspension inspired by the Porsche 912.

And like any eye-popping Volkswagen of the 60s, the engine is straddling on the derrière. This auto is overrun with ‘artistry’ that people with money and peculiar tastes find the car utterly charming.

And for most of you who found this model to be too much...you’d be right.

It’s a model designed for the rich.

Considering the body panels were handmade by Karmann Engineering, you’d have to break your banks to afford this.

Here’s a question for you:

What’s the difference between a Grand Prix White 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster that’s priced at $209,001 versus one that’s sold for $363,000?

Jerry Seinfeld.

Ta-da!

Apparently, there’s an extra $150,000 increase when a man like him owns something.

Yep, you read that right…

… of the 2,065 delivered to the US; only, 823 models were shipped with a full-on turbo widebody and a black interior little slop covering electric sports seats.

This is a boss Porsche!

The 2004 Porsche Carrera is another auto worth its weight in gold.

It gets all its 612 horsepower from a 5.7 L V 10 engine, which is then shifted to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The brand takes great pride in making this model as light as they possibly could. Porsche went as far as installing a balsa wood gearshift knob to take a load off its total weight.

Jerry kept his Carrera in immaculate condition with only 3,176 miles on its meter!

And it’s not just Jerry…

Ralph Lauren and Tiger Woods also have one parked in their garages.

As it turns out…

… there are specs exclusive only to the posh 1958 Porsche 356 Carrera Speedster.

Aside from there being only 151 of its kind, Jerry’s Speedster is 1 of 13 to be done in green.

It’s truly remarkable, to say the least!

The unit was restored to its original specs and even won Concourse awards at the Quail Motorsports gathering for being the best in its class.

And lastly…

… this Carrera Speedster sold for a mind-boggling $1.54 million at Seinfeld’s Amelia Island Auction.

WOW! Just wow!

Stashed in Jerry’s East Hampton garage for quite some time is a 1966 Porsche 356 SC Cabriolet.

This adorable Cabby – one that effortlessly gets all the attention – was used by the German Police and featured on every rally motorsport race.

Production of this auto began in 1948 in Gmund, Austria. They started with aluminum for the body but shifted to steel along the way.

But perhaps the most striking thing about the 20th car on this list is the beautiful lines. There’s not one hard edge from front to rear!

Everything just flows elegantly. I don’t know about you but this just screams Jerry Seinfeld to me.

Experts say Jerry’s 1964 Porsche 911 is a classic among classics – with an exciting story.

In 1996, Jerry found this Porsche still owned by the son of the company founder, Ferry Porsche.

Now, that’s a blueblood right there.

After Jerry got the 911, he sent it off to Porsche works in Germany, where it underwent restoration for just $250,000.

No biggie.

And just like new out of the production line, this car hasn’t changed a bit even after a century has passed.

The 1969 Lamborghini Miura holds the crown for being regarded as one of the most beautiful vehicles ever made…

… and rightfully so!

It boasts iconic headlights and a long sloping body. The interior is embellished with plush leather seats as well as an open-gated manual transmission.

Behind the seats sleeps a massive 3.9 L V 12 (370 hp) mounted sideways. Its incredible power is tucked away in the little space between the seats and the car’s rear wheels.

The perfect mix of beauty AND power!

Since it’s also polished with a wide frame, you have plenty of space to stretch your legs once you open the hood too!

Right off the bat, the 1976 Lamborghini Countach boasts a killer v12 engine with six carburetors.

And this Lambo got featured on Jerry’s TV series with none other than the iconic Jim Carrey!

An Icon for an icon!

The Countach’s body is fashioned aerodynamically like it’s ready to soar and fly. It features vented disc breaks and a telescopic independent suspension.

This concept car debuted at the Geneva Auto Show and took the crowd by storm!

For the next three years, the brand’s engineers refined every nook and cranny to develop the final image we know and adore today!

1997 Porsche 993 Cup 3.8 RSR

  • Estimated value: $1.2 million – $1.5 million
  • Sold: $935,000

RSR models were Porsche’s factory-built race cars modelled on the 911 sports car.

This car was designed for endurance racing. It was built for the Japanese market and delivered to a dealer – in 1997.

It never entered any competition, though.

It has fewer than 3,700 miles on the clock and remained in Japan until Seinfeld bought it and imported it into the U.S. in 2015.

The 2011 Porsche 997 is proof of the brand reigning supreme above competition.

It was made to commemorate 25 years of Porsche’s hard work that became an instant collector’s favorite! It offers limited production runs and exclusivity.

This particular model went through multiple style changes, finally producing only 365 copies in the entire world.

They made it perfect to the touch.

The Speedster is powered by a 408-hp naturally-aspirated 3.8-L flat-six engine fully equipped with a PDK gearbox.

Its interior is customized with painted panels and checkerboard seat trim.

Just one look at the 1983 Porsche 959, and you know it’s the definition of the brand’s crest!

Jerry’s Porsche is superior.

A few tweaks here and there modified the vehicle enough to be street legal since it was initially designed as a concept vehicle.

Even someone like Bill Gates waited a DECADE to own one!

Rich people do have troubles of their own. And for a Porsche fan, Jerry got his hands on one too.

The pearl white color looks fancy, to say the least!

You just need to be super wealthy if you want to ride this baby. It’s the perfect classic car sphere that’s said to be sophisticated on the road. Jerry even went as far as saying the car could show anyone “the meaning of life.”

We might just agree, Jerry! If you could only take us for a ride too.

On to our top 10!

What Jerry owns is the Red Sports Version of the 1986 Porsche 959.

It’s an iconic sports car of the 80s that can easily needle 211 mph even when its listed top speed is just 197mph.

It’s also one of only 337 models in the world where 200 of which are street legal models. In its day, it was considered the fastest street-legal vehicle on the road!

How?

Using lightweight materials like aluminum to keep the auto fast and lean.

Let me start by telling you that this PORSCHE 718 Spyder was one of Jerry’s more disappointing vehicles.

Once, Jerry offloaded 15 Porsche faves at the Amelia Island Sale, a famed auction. The RSK Spyder was expected to top out at least $4 million in bids.

Why?

Well, because this particular auto was a multiple-race winner and was featured on Jerry’s hit web series.

Alas! The bid only reached $2.6 million – which didn’t bother the comedian that much. Jerry merely wanted to pass the vehicle on to other collectors.

I tell ‘ya, the bidder who got this made a lucky steal!

We might not be old enough to see little rice burners down our local highways and neighborhoods but let me tell you…

… rice badging a vehicle way back made it cooler!

And for the 2012 Porsche 997 GT3 4.0 Cup “Brumos Commemorative Edition,” even its stickers alone make it a real badass!

And just like on the outside, this incredible ride hides a monstrous 4.0-L flat head with six engines under the hatch!

It’s the ultimate attention grabber!

500hp, 8,250 RPMs, and 339-foot pounds of Torque – yes, that’s all the 2011 Porsche-911 GT3 RS 40 1 is made of.

All that power is thanks to the new intake manifolds, a catalytic converter, and better air filters. All those features help in cutting down exhaust backpressure.

Yet all that isn’t enough for Seinfeld, apparently. He added in a few extras of his own.

Jerry extended the black leather interior that contracted with the auto’s silver stitching and finished it off with a black paint job and an unpainted carbon fiber hood.

Get a load of this: The car’s even signed by famous people like Hans Mezger, Andressa Pruning girl, and the head of Porsche exclusive!

And all that is worth $250,000!

This babe could even go for a million if you ask me!

Ahh, with just a glance, the 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera is genuinely dazzling!

There are only 15 of this model worldwide made solely for the Roger Penske IROC series. Its well-documented history with an undefeated spirit makes this Carrera worth around $2.5 million.

Other than that…

… this hot ride was once driven by the famous Follmer, Johncock, Forbes-Robinson, and Minter.

Not only is it street-legal, but it’s also well-maintained by Seinfeld’s personal fleet management team in Manhattan.

Time for another backstory…

Seinfeld purchased this 2000 Porsche Carrera directly from the manufacturer in 2007. There were only two prototypes produced, so it’s another obvious ultra-expensive ride.

The powertrain is said to pattern after the discontinued LMP 2000 racer.

Another thing…

What makes Jerry’s toy very valuable is the fact that it’s an authentic ‘hand-built piece of custom auto work.’

Although a prototype, this auto has been driven by Walter Rohrl for the sake of promotion. This also means it isn’t considered street-legal in the US.

The prettiest race car…ever!

A lot of people have called it that – including me.

The 1990 Porsche 962C is pretty and loaded with a 750-horsepower 935/85 flat-head six-cylinder engine. The “Doppelflügel,” otherwise called the rear spoiler, reduces drag to make racing more lean and efficient.

That’s not all…

… it’s also equipped with superior fuel injection, a 5-speed gearbox, KKK turbochargers, and ventilated disc brakes.

It’s made to be a beautiful beast on the race tracks!

And, of course, Jerry has to have it. He bought it from Joest Racing in the early 90s and officially became its second owner.

How touching…

A racecar that’s never raced before – the most remarkable creation of the 917/30 series, the 1973 Porsche 91730.

For one…

… the body was tested and designed for optimum aerodynamics with an engine that’s a flat 12 twin turbo. It could easily reach a top speed of 240mph and is capable of letting off 1,500 horsepower. It could also dial back for a racing performance to 1,100.

And just when you think it couldn’t get any better…

… this guy could go from zero to 60mph in just 2.1 seconds!

It just needs 3.9 seconds to break a speed of 100mph and could crush double that speed in 13.4 seconds!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

In second place is the ‘Jerry Seinfield Porsche Collection’ is this Porsche 911 Carrera RS

Jerry’s RS is one of 49 others in the world. It’s impressive because it’s a Porsche, and Jerry Seinfeld owns it.

Here’s a little story to pique your interest…

This car got backed into by a lady riding a BMW. And Jerry watched it all happen from across the street.

Hitting a car like this is a true crime!

You’d think she’d be BEGGING for forgiveness, but no.

She wasn’t apologetic in the slightest!

She said she didn’t see it and drove off without another word.

SOMEBODY GET HIM A LAWYER!

Finally, at the top of today’s list…

… is Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsche 550 RS worth around $6 million!

Why’s it such a big deal, you ask?

Well, the 550 RS is Porsche’s first purpose-built racer. Yes, no mistake there. It’s nicknamed the “Giant Killer” for two reasons: for one, this model bossed over the entire class of 1.5-liter engines. Second, it had no issues defeating much larger vehicles by Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, and Jaguar.

Everybody’s hoping to live long enough to see one in person!

Conclusion: Jerry Seinfeld Car Collection
