Russell Peters was born to Maureen Peters and Eric Peters. He was raised in Brampton, Toronto, Canada.

Early life: Russell’s parents moved in 1970 to the suburb of Brampton from Bombay, India, where they gave birth to little Russell.

In 2009 – Peters sold out the Sydney Opera House, Madison Square Garden, Nokia Theatre, and the list of countries goes on.

That same year, Peters hosted Showtime: Comics Without Borders and Russell Peters Presents.

Russell Peters proposed to his long-time girlfriend Monica Diaz at Los Angeles International Airport in 2010 and got married in Nevada.

Monica Diaz and Peters announced their divorce. However, they’re blessed with a gorgeous daughter named Crystianna Marie Peters.
