Tamron Hall was born in Luling, Texas, on the 16th of September, 1970. Her mother is Mary Newton, and her stepfather is Clarence Newton Sr., who inspired her to take up a broadcasting career.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University in 1992. After which, she moved to Dallas-Fort Worth Area and started her career.

Tamron used to be a national news anchor for NBC News, MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall, and co-host of Today’s Take, the third hour of Today. Right now, she is the host of Deadline: Crime on Investigation Discovery channel.
Initially, she was a general assignment reporter for the KBTX network of Bryan College station in Texas back in 1992 until 1994. Then, she shifted to the KTVT network in Fort Worth, Texas.
Three years later, she signed up with WFLD –TV in Chicago, where she reported mostly on political issues of the place as she worked for the television channel.
