Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is an American pornographic actress, film director, and former stripper. She has received several industry accolades and is a member of the NightMoves, AVN, and XRCO Halls of Fame. Daniels is a resident of Forney, Texas.

Stormy Daniels was chosen as her stage name because she adores the American rock band “Mötley Crüe,” whose bassist, Nikki Sixx, named his daughter Storm. After reading a Jack Daniel’s advertisement that said “a Southern favorite,” she decided on the surname “Daniels.”

Daniels’ first encounter as a stripper/exotic dancer came when she was 17 and was persuaded to do a “guest set” at a strip club by a friend. She decided to strip for money at the Gold Club in Baton Rouge and signed with Continental Theatrical Agency in September 2000 as a featured entertainer.

She met Devon Michaels, performing all-female sex scenes in a pair of upcoming films – one for Wicked Pictures and one for Sin City – while working as a featured entertainer, and Michaels encouraged Daniels to join her.
