Broderick Stephen Harvey was born in Welch, West Virginia on January 17, 1957.
His father was a coal miner named Jesse Harvey and his mother is Eloise Vera.
Harvey was named after the actor Broderick Crawford in the TV series Highway Patrol hence, sporting the first name “Broderick”.
Harvey’s family moved to live on East 112th Street, which was renamed Steve Harvey Way in 2015.
It’s in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
He hosts Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud, Little Big Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young, and Steve Harvey’s Funderdome.
He is also a comedian, author, and businessman.
