The Young Chris Brown
Born to a former daycare center director, and a corrections officer Christopher Maurice Brown (Chris Brown) was welcomed into the world on May 5th, 1989.
He was raised in Tappahannock, Virginia, and grew up listening to the soul albums that his family loved. Brown also learned how to sing and dance on his own, and once said that Michael Jackon inspired him to improve his music.
Brown enjoyed performing right from being very young; he even joined several singing competitions whilst in high school.
