The song was released on the 8th of June, 2019, from Brown’s ninth studio album Indigo as the fourth single.

It was produced by Canadian Producer 40, and American Producers Vinylz, J-Louis, and Teddy Walton. The album contained uncredited samples from the track written and performed by Che Ecru titled “Before I Die.”
