Angela Renée White, also known as Blac Chyna, is an American model, successful entrepreneur, and socialite. Among her businesses is her brand of adhesive eyelashes, own clothing line, and a beauty salon in Encino, Los Angeles. Chyna was first brought to the public’s attention when well-known rapper Drake dropped her name into his 2010 single “Miss Me.”

Truth be told…

Blac went through a rough patch when she established her career. At the age of 18, she began stripping to pay for her tuition when she attended college in Maryland. Chyna moved to Miami, and she resumed stripping while attending Johnson & Wales University. 

However, due to exhaustion from handling both studying and stripping, she dropped out of college and focus on stripping and taking up modeling.  Chyna adopted her stage name Blac Chyna from the popular King of Diamonds club in Miami. 

Her popularity as a stripper led her to several modeling jobs.

Chyna became famous overnight when rapper Drake dropped her name into his 2010 single “Miss Me.” 

After gaining wider attention by being the stunt double for Nicki Minaj in the music video for the song “Monster” by Kanye West, Chyna was offered to pose for cover pages in magazine articles, including Dimepiece, Straight Stuntin, and Black Mens’ Magazine, Urban Ink and Smooth Girl.

Not only that…

Chyna was named the ‘Model of the Year’ at the Urban Model Awards in 2011 and was cast as the lead model/artist for the 2011 single “Rack City” by Tyga, eventually leading to a romantic involvement with him. She then appeared in Nicki Minaj’s single “Come On A Cone” in 2012.

After all her accomplishments, Blac desired to achieve more success, and in 2013, she launched her clothing line, 88fin, and graduated from the JLS Professional Makeup Artist School. In the same year, her line of adhesive eyelashes was launched Lashed by Blac Chyna and a beauty salon in Encino, Los Angeles.

Chyna has undergone surgeries to enhance her career. Buttock augmentation and both breast enhancements and breast reduction are the surgeries she underwent. 

Making an effort after she broke up with rapper Tyga in 2014, her first TV appearance began in “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” when she dated Rob Kardashian. Chyna and Rob appeared on their series on the “E! Network” called “Rob & Chyna,” which first aired in 2016. The series followed their lives and relationships.

Chyna went to have her reality television series “The Real Blac Chyna,” which follows her life and career after her separation from Rob Kardashian. It aired in 2019 on “Zeus Network.” 

She also appeared in multiple other television series episodes, including “Tokyo Toni’s Finding Love ASAP!”, “Dish Nation,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and the “The Real.” 

“Wild ‘N Out” was Chyna’s first game show appearance in 2017, where she played as the team captain—followed by the “Hip Hop Squares” a year after, where she played as a contestant.
