The Young 50 Cent

50 Cent grew up in the care of his single mother, Sabrina Jackson, in South Jamaica. He didn’t have the best childhood since his mother died in a fire when he was just eight years old. After such an unfortunate event, he was left with his grandparents who raised him – with all they had.

When he was 11, 50 Cent started boxing in the hopes of becoming a professional boxer.

But one short year later, he was selling drugs in school. He even bought a gun for protection and took it with him to school when he was only 15.

It was a hard knock life.

His first arrest happened that same year, thanks to his high school’s security detecting the gun and drugs.

After that incident, he dropped out of school and focused on his drug business.

50 Cent: Family & Relationships

The Love of 50 Cent’s Life

Nope, it’s not someone he dated or is currently dating.

Beulah Jackson, his grandmother, brought up 50 Cent in their simple home in South Jamaica Queens. Cent grew up with his mother’s eight siblings.

Her death in 2014 made headlines as 50 Cent recalled everything he and his grandmother encountered while he was growing up.

From his drug pin stories to how he achieved his success today – it was all laid bare when she died.

50 Cent & His Grandfather

His grandfather, Curtis Jackson II, now lives with the rapper. He loves to take care of him and enjoys spending his days-off with him.

50 Cent & His Romantic Relationships

50 Cent has dated many women including the socialite Paris Hilton, reality show star Kim Kardashian, English model Naomi Campbell, and fitness model-businesswoman Cuban Link.

He has two kids – one from Shaniqua Tompkins (mother of Marquise Jackson, 50 Cent’s oldest son and another with Daphne Joy (mother of Sire Jackson), whom he dated before his relationships with Campbell and Link.

Cuban Link (also known as Jamira Haines) is a fitness trainer and a pre-law student from New Jersey. They had their first date in a restaurant because Link wasn’t sure if she was meeting the “real” 50 Cent.

Cautious lady!

The two have been dating since 2019.
