The audition tape of their episode was sent to Pie Town Productions without knowing the outcome. HGTV Producers also noticed the couple’s social media accounts, featuring the samples of their work.

In 2012, Tarek and Christina El Moussa signed a deal with HGTV, and their series began airing a year after, and “Flip or Flop” finally hit the small screen on the network. The couple became famous and garnered 92 episodes within their seven seasons from 2013-2017.
