Steve Harvey Height, Age, Weight & Body Measurements: Broderick Stephen Harvey – popularly known as Steve Harvey – is an American comedian, actor, host, producer, and author.

Born on January 17, 1957 in Welch, West Virginia, he’s the youngest among the five children of Jesse Harvey and Eloise Harvey. 

Steve started from the bottom before he reached the tremendous success he’s enjoying right now. His career started in the early 1980s as a comedian. He first performed stand-up comedy at the Hilarities Comedy Club of Cleveland, Ohio in 1985.

But before that…

… he had been a homeless man for a long time.

On April 6, 1990, Steve was a finalist in the Second Annual Johnny Walker National Comedy Search, ultimately leading to a long career as the host of “It’s Showtime at the Apollo.” His success as a stand-up comedian led him to play a role on Me and the Boys, one of the ABC shows in 1994.

Subsequently, he starred on The Steve Harvey Show, a WB network show aired from 1996 to 2002.

The years that followed gave him more fortune. Harvey was given a series of roles in the films, including The Original Kings of Comedy, The Fighting Temptations, and The Johnson Family Vacation.

… Steve hosted several amazing shows such as Family Feud, Steve Harvey, and Little Big Shots – which garnered him much praise and popularity as a host.

Stephen has been married thrice and has seven children. 

His first wife was Marcia Harvey. They wedded in 1980 but later got divorced in 1994. They were blessed with twin daughters (Brandi and Karli) and a son named Broderick Harvey, Jr.

He married Mary Shackelford next, but their marriage ended in divorce in November of 2005. They had a son named Wynton.

Finally, he met Marjorie Bridges – the woman who changed his life. They tied the knot in 2007. However, Marjorie had three children (Morgan, Jason, and Lori) before their paths even crossed. Luckily, Steve adopted all of them.
