Lil Xan Controversies and Litigation
LX vs. Man in gas station 2019
On a Friday night, Rapper Nicholas got into a frenzied exchange at a local gas station. He threatened the man with a handgun and shouted racial slurs over an argument about the legendary Tupac Shakur.
Lil Xan’s no stranger to public controversial outbursts. He was once seen arguing with a man outside a 7/11 convenience store in Downtown Los Angeles after being asked why he talked “sh*t” about Tupac.
It was all recorded by a surveillance camera too.
On a side note: How did this Tupac vs. Lil Xan start?
Apparently, in February 2018, Diego Leanos stage name LX did an interview with Revolt TV.
They asked him what he thought about the late Rap legend, Tupac Shakur.
Uninterested, Diego Leanos shrugged off and said Tupac made “boring music.”
Wrong move there, Lil Xan…
Another famous rapper Waka Flocka Flame was the first to publicly call him out. Flame tweeted that for him, LX was banned from the world of Hip Hop.
Lil Xan responded by nonchalantly saying he’ll still continue on with his career, but wouldn’t be participating in any more interviews or discussions about the matter.
The embarrassing bit?
Just a month later, Leanos surprisingly performed at a concert in Pomona, California Tupac’s “California Love.”
At his meet and greet, LX said “the media twisted my words, I think Tupac is a legend.”
On a personal note, I honestly think the media can only change the story to a point and from this, I can see no media intervention at all…
After Lil Xan’s little stunt, fans still flock to Lil Xan demanding he explains why Tupac is “boring.”
And this case is a classic example…
Following the altercation, LX then retreats to his black Mercedes G-class where he pulled out a handgun. He then begins to wave the gun erratically at the man.
In the leaked video, the one behind the camera can be heard taunting Lil Xan saying ‘Look at this guy pulling a gun, right now, ‘Pull that s**t out again, homie.’
LX mockingly obliges by pointing the barrel back at the man a couple of times before finally – urged by his girlfriend Annie Smith – getting back inside the car.
The unnamed man behind the camera filed a police report to Los Angeles PD.
The rapper took the case to Instagram and issued a statement claiming he pulled the gun out in self-defense.
Lil Xan and girlfriend over fake ultrasounds 2019
The Billboard’s Hot 100 artist and his girlfriend Annie Smith received hundreds of backlash comments from their fans as they were accused of faking ultrasound photos of their unborn child.
Yep, I agree with you there. The joke’s only funny on April Fools.
First, they gave the announcement on Instagram…
… then they shared the photos via vlog on Smith’s YouTube channel captioned “First Baby pictures!”
Smith also claimed she was 9-weeks pregnant and scrolled down through a series of ultrasound images saved on her phone.
Very clever fans…
… with hawk eyes saw through the facade and claims began to surface as there was a close resemblance between the couple’s ultrasound photos and images you see on Google when you search for the term “9th-week ultrasound.”
A lot of nasty comments flooded their Instagram accounts – the culprits in question failed to address them and stayed pretty quiet.
LX then gave a statement to the effect that he himself didn’t know whether or not Annie was faking it but he’s doubting her too.
He said she’s very secretive about the medical records or the appointment she’s making.
Placing yourself a little too far in the safe zone bro.
Later on, the couple then informed the public of Annie’s alleged miscarriage.
Whether it’s all for the clout, who knows.
Lil Xan concert cancellation 2018
Due to violent threats aimed at Lil Xan, the planned concert at The Pageant in St. Louis was canceled.
A criminal investigation was started and the perpetrator identified as VladHQ, a St. Louis rapper. Vlad posted videos of him firing shots with a rifle while verbally harassing Lil Xan.
The night of the concert, VladHQ posted a photo of himself holding multiple AK-47s. It captioned “hi Lil Xan see ya later at your show.”
The man went nuts after LX failed to pay him.
The police department isn’t actively investigating the threat as Lil Xan’s manager assures his fans the situation has been handled.
Lil Xan vs. Twitter over food court rant 2018
Lil Xan went on a food court tirade at an Indianapolis mall.
During his rant, he let the N-word slip out.
“I’m rich nigga, I’m rich,” he screamed in a video. “You broke ass bitch!”
A lot of angry comments here people.
Twitter keyboard warriors are a tough bunch, I tell ya.
Lil Xan and Hot Cheetos overdose 2018
Well, guess who’s as flabbergasted as you are?
LX was hospitalized after eating too many orange-colored puffs.
“I went to the hospital today,” says Lil Xan. “You know, getting ready to pack for this tour. I just want to let everybody know I was in the hospital — not due to any drugs — but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos and I guess it ripped something in my stomach open, so I puked a little blood..”
These little monsters contain 10grams of fat per serving. You’ll get more than just an upset stomach if you eat too many.
How He Spends His Money:
The $3 Million Lil Xan Net worth is all thanks to his albums and tours.
Yep, that’s Lil Xan’s ONLY source of income.
He’s known for his certified platinum for his most popular song, “Betrayed.”
The song even peaked at number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100. In its chorus, Leanos sings about Xanax, a highly addictive medication.
And that’s why he’s called Lil Xan. He was addicted for two years.
This teen was highly addicted to drugs at such an early age.
He got himself into rehab to kick the habit and successfully managed his addiction after that.
While this guy makes a lot of money, many speculators say he’s mostly spending it on his addictive tendencies.
Then paying for rehab on top of that.
Lil Xan House
Lil Xan briefly left rehab to buy his new home.
The 23-year old rapper LX signed papers to formalize his purchase on a residential property in his hometown, Redlands, California.
This is where the young rapper will settle down as he finishes his rehab.
The entire transaction was manned by round-the-clock staff to make sure he stays clean.
According to TMZ, Xan was accompanied by a nurse from his facility when he went to sign the papers – and immediately returned the day after.
Lil Xan Cars
Mercedes Benz G-class
On May 5, 2018, a video was published on YouTube revealing LX suffering from a mental illness as evident by him keying his own car.
“I wanna show ‘ya what mental illness really fucking looks like,”
He then shows the scratches on his car…
“Wanna know why I’m doing that? Because of mental fucking illness. All this materialistic shit don’t mean shit in this world.”
LX then goes on to say he’s a slave to his management and everyone in it. According to the Hot 100 rapper, he has no control over his license or bank account.
He isn’t even allowed to use the car he purchased saying “I don’t get control of shit, I can’t even drive that fucking car. They put it in the basement so I couldn’t take it.”
