Young Jocko Willink

John Gretton “Jocko” Willink, was born to John and Robin Willink.

In his early life, his father was a teacher, and the coach of the middle school and varsity basketball team at Wamogo Regional High School.

In a family centered on sports, and with two sisters, he was able to learn how to distinguish himself from his sisters through masculinity.

I mean, I would’ve done the same, too.

He actually excelled in the family’s sport of skiing among other things.

During his elementary years, Jocko started being somewhat of a rogue son that enjoyed causing trouble.

He attended Wamogo Regional High School where he was described as an intense, smart, driven, high-energy guy.
