Entry #25 – BEAT IT UP
Featured: Trey Songz
Album: Burrrprint 2
Released: 2010
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
It’s 4 in the mornin’
She callin’ my phone
She wanna be grown
We gone get it on
Starring Trey Songz, this song starts with a pop of thirsty beats with some semblance of hot and treacherous romance.
It starts off recounting about a chick hitting him up acting all sleazy.
Turns out this girl’s taken.
Mane then tells how she’s a master in bed – sleeping with him instead of her guy.
As the song’s about to end he then proceeds to tell fans that girls like this can’t hold his attention for too long – no matter how good they are at sex or how beautiful they are.
Even as it was released almost a decade ago, it’s still part of people’s playlist screaming “2024 and still my sh*t!”
Entry #24 – DOPE BOYS
Album: The Burrprint (The Movie 3D)
Released: 2009
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
All I need is one mic all I need is one stove
Homie got a nice flow but Gucci got that white coke
You ain’t gettin the right dope, you knockin’ on the wrong door
Last nigga tried me let’s just call ’em john doe
As the name implies, this song’s all about dope and dope boys playing king in the streets – using dope, selling dope, and a lil thug handsomely getting away with it.
That pretty much sums it up.
Dope Boys is the opener of a 20-track offering feat leading collaborators like Juiceman and Waka Flocka Flame.
This track’s considered a highlight of Gucci’s The Burrprint (The Movie 3d.) It’s a project that wrapped up his The Movie series and spearheaded his Burrprint series.
This mixtape was fire!
Entry #23 – BLING BLAWW BURR
Featuring: Young Dolph
Album: Woptober
Released: 2016
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
You see this car I’m riding in cost 500,000
Tell them pussy ass niggas they should look at me now
Niggas say that they gon’ run up on the Gucci but how?
And tell your sister I don’t love her, I’m in love with her mouth
In this track’s music video, Guwop is seen in his natural habitat…
… flaunting himself, his money and his girls wearing a white robe embellished on the back with his title as the “Local Trap God.”
This song is a clear reference to his origins – as an apprentice thug constantly on the wrong side of the law and impudently up against his mother’s wishes.
This song was such a huge hit, fans were all in agreemnat he did even better the moment he pulled himself out of jail, literally, lyrically and musically.
Everyone’s glad he’s out!
Entry #22 – Coca Coca
Featuring: Nicki Minaj, Juiceman, Shawty Lo, Rocko, Waka Flocka Flame, Yo Gotti
Album: Burrrprint 2
Released: 2010

Coca, coca, coca cola

Yulla, yulla, baking soda “cocaine is my girlfriend”
Boila, boila, boilin water “damn I gotta forced game”
Snorta, snorta make an offer “no prob’ I could cook it for ya”
Feat many fellow rappers, this exhaustive track lasts for 8 long minutes!
My personal take on this?
I think this song was the mumble rap of its time.
Okay…
… it technically isn’t mumbling but it sure aint anything other than smoking pot and getting high.
Agree?
Entry #21 – BRICKS (The State vs. Radric Davis)
Featuring: OJ da Juiceman, Yo Gotti
Album: The State vs. Radric Davis
Released: 2009
Genres: Southern Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop/Rap
So icy c.e.o, I’m a fool with the snow
They think I’m puttin’ v.v.s jewels in the coke
My watch a cool hundred, Paint-job a cold 20
And after this flip I’m quittin’ the trap cold turkey, Sike!
This song parades Guwop’s love for the trap!
Bricks’ official music video brings to view Nicki Minaj’s old natural beauty – the time before she got notable as a singer herself and wallowed in her own limelight.
After a few years, fans pointed out Nicki’s audacity to act like she didn’t owe anything to Gucci for getting where she is now.
Artist: E-40
Featuring: Gucci Mane, Trinidad James
Album: The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil, Parts 4, 5, & 6
Released: 2013
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Just about anybody who used cocaine in the 90s and 80s
Was using Pablo Escobar’s product
Escobar was probably the most violent,
The most ferocious criminal that has ever lived
If you ask me, EVERY single junkie out there knows – and adores – the ill-famed Pablo Escobar.
In actuality, this track’s part of Mane’s Diary of a Trap God. It was released just a day after a certain controversial tweet bombed the media.
Guwop expressed in his tweet the desire to sell his recording contracts.
He also dissed 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj, and Drake, among others on the app.
After the event, he retracted his statement and apologized – blaming it all on a cocktail of “codeine and promethazine.”
Featuring: Drake
Album: The Return of East Atlanta Santa
Released: 2016
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
I got so many felonies
I might can’t never go to Canada
But Drake said he gon’ pull some strings
So let me check my calendar
This Gucci song racked up the numbers and became the most commercially successful during its release.
Its success was so outstanding it earned him his first platinum record!
This catapulted old Mane to releasing more chart-topping hits.
As the lyrics imply, Both was a song that led him to cloud 9 since he’s been out of prison.
His redemption took people by surprise as audiences listened to his “Down” collab with famous pop group Fifth Harmony, the “Fetish” collaboration with the sensational Selena Gomez, not to mention his Hot 100 “Make Love” single with female vocalist Nicki Minaj.
And lastly, now his highest-charting debut “I Get the Bag,” featuring Migos.
Entry #18 – TIMOTHY
Album: Greatest Mixtape Hits
Released: 2015
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Once upon a time in a neighborhood not far away
Was a dude named Timothy, he tried to steal a car a day
He kept a screwdriver close by, he did autotheft
Got with a lil crew & now he not doing it by himself
Now this one, I like.
It’s different from the previous songs in this list. It gives us a story we can enjoy and picture throughout the vocals.
It features the picture of Timothy, a young car thief who unluckily breaks into a drug dealers’ auto.
As pay back, thugs are sent to his house – they end up killing his mother.
This track is a stand out and I must say, lil’ baby Timothy got me.
Entry #17 – I’M A STAR
Album: Wilt Chamberlain (Part 4)
Released: 2015
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
See my shit?
My shit like Hollywood, right?
You call this the Gangsta Grillz walk of fame
Everybody waits to get they star
As it made its appearance in the singer’s The Movie Mixtape, Gucci’s “I’m A Star” produced by Drumma Boy was the latest in the DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz series.
It came off as the fifth and final project Gucci put out at the end of 2008. As such, it became the segue of two more mixtapes in 2009 before dropping his ‘Murder Was the Case’ album in May.
To top it off, Listeners got a few solid tracks from the shower of releases by Gucci until it died down in time for another outburst of the first Burrprint Mixtape and The State vs. Radric Davis later on that year.
Yeesh! Now would you look at that?
Album: The State vs. Radric
Released: 2009
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
I’m my best friend
And I’m my worst enemy
And no one else can hurt me unless I let them
Is you feelin’ me
Guwop knows a thing or two about going to jail…
…because this is the type of man who tattoos himself on the face with a picture of an ice cream cone!
Judging from its title, I honestly thought this might be addressed to all his haters…
… I thought maybe it’s another diss track.
But rather, it’s an introspective piece where he reflects on the behavior that caused his downfall on many occasions.
The lyrics really got to me, too.
It got me bad
As it turns out, Gucci violated his probation following his 2005 aggravated assault charge and was sent to Fulton County jail for 6 months.
Entry #15 – FROWNY FACE
Album: The Burrprint (The Movie 3D)
Released: 2009
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Some niggas tried to wet me up
Shot up my truck in East Atlanta
Want to set me up
Bbecause I tricked this nigga in Savannah
On no. 13, we have another solid offering from Gucci’s Burrprint Mixtape. Frowny Face is part of this popular studio album that showcases a rather unique storyline.
It portrays Gucci running into a whole load of problems after a buyer feels he’s been ripped off with fake cocaine and weak wood from Gucci’s team.
Gucci, the young thug that he is, then goes on to detail his violent confrontations, fleeing to Alabama, and leaving sh*t behind.
Album: Wilt Chamberlain (Part 5)
Released: 2015
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Yellow Benz with a spoiler kit, with my spoiler chick
Yellow diamonds on my neck and wrist, match this yellow bitch
She a trip, shawty, she the shit, she know she the shit
If you don’t buy her what she want then she throw a fit
“I think I love her” became Gucci’s classic song.
I personally think it’s great because it appeals to a wider audience.
Listen to this: It’s so good that it ended up part of multiple tracklists.
As the song features Ester Dean, it parades a classic back-and-forth banter where two men fall for the same woman – she’s free spirited and has no plans of settling for just any guy.
This crazy setup engages the audience ready for comedic romances with a twist!
Album: Everybody Looking
Released: 2016
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Yo yo yo come check this crazy flow
I gotta go and do this show
Just where is tokyo?
Yo yo damn brick squad be burnin’ dro
Stick with me here, the title “Everybody Looking” belonged to a track released way back 2010 that appeared on his Burrprint 2HD mixtape.
That track inspired Gucci – who delivered his 9th out of all the studio albums, ‘Everybody Looking’, is still produced by Drumma Boy.
It put on record Gucci’s opulent lifestyle and his all-eyes-on-me personality that leaves fans waiting for his next move.
Featuring: Ludacris
Album: Greatest Mixtape Hits
Released: 2015
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
I’m obnoxious
I’m flowing crazy, I need to stop this
Don’t knock this
You nigga’s lazy y’all need to watch this
Yet another offering from Gucci and his album, Burrprint 2 in collaboration with Ludracis.
As the name suggests, it revolves around the jungle-like conditions in his hometown. Specifically, his area Zone 6.
Produced by FATBOI, this track later inspires a remix from Chief Keef called “Chicago Zoo.”
Album: Hard to Kill
Released: 2006
Producer(s): Cyber Sapp
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
She a very freaky girl, don’t bring her to mamma
First you get her name, then you get her number
Then you get some brain, in the front seat of the Hummer
Then you get some brain, in the front seat of the Hummer
“Freaky Gurl” is another chronicle of Gucci and his escapades. It was so well-received it placed on the Billboard Hot 100 in 62nd spot!
Freaky Gurl gave way to a fantastic remix featuring Lil Kim and Ludacris. Even someone like Nicki Minaj flipped the track for her “Wanna Minaj” Remix.
It’s still a fan fave now!
Featuring: Rick Ross
Album: Trap House
Released: 2013
Genre: Hip-hop/Rap
I told partner bring the presser
Apply some pressure to the jack
I got a thousand keys uncut, nigga
Guaranteed I make this money stack, nigga
Mane and Rick Ross come together in their truest nature to give fans a splash of the past for both trap sound and hip-hop with this solid offering!
It features appearances from 2 Chainz, Rich Homie Quan, Chief Keef and Peewee Longway.
Featuring: Shawnna, The Game
Album: Back to the Trap House
Released: 2007
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
East Atlanta slum man is where I come from
Pass that bubble thrax and put this bean on your tongue
Now everything was gravy ’til your bitch came in
Bout the same time that that thang kicked in
This particular meme-generating track sadly did yet more damage.
Appearing on Gucci’s Back to The Traphouse release in 2007, this cheeky ensemble brought a stampede of memes and even sparked a rumor as to whether or not Gucci did reply to a judge “Bitch, I might be.”
The now-debunked tittle-tattle came forth after a soldier accused the singer of hitting him in the head with a champagne bottle.
Entry #8 – ST. BRICK INTRO
Album: The Return of East Atlanta Santa
Released: 2016
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
A igloo full of snow and a white stove
House full of naked hoes snortin’ blow
It’s so lonely at the top, plus its real cold
A house full of hoes and they cookin’ blow
I’m in Zone 6 a.k.a. the North Pole
St. Brick Intro is Gucci’s first-course offering of his Santa Holiday special.
The project was a big one!
It bred several music videos. It took advantage of the winter season to skillfully flip the words “ice” and “snow” while presenting his hometown throughout!
This song is unique and so fine-tuned it landed no. 8 on our list!
A little fun fact: Gucci once won SantaCon 2019 – all nice, in red, for the Holidays.
Entry #7 – PUSSY PRINT
Featuring: Kanye West
Album: Everybody Looking
Released: 2016
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
“Keep a towel with me Cause my watch be drippin’ water, bitch
And I only featured Kanye Cause we both some fuckin’ narcissists
Narcissistic tendencies with psychopathic pockets, bitch
My bank account is crazy, bitch
I think it needs some medicine.”
Teaming up with Kanye West with a beat ferociously produced by Mike Will-made, this banger is a must hear!
Post-prison Gucci and post-pablo Kanye made this track unforgettable.
As two notable rappers finally able to follow a straight line, it boosted fan morale with some eye-popping lyrics!
This terrific pairing just made people want more!
Album: The State vs. Radric D
Released: 2009
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Rose by 50
Uh Now she tipsy
Slow dancing in my mansion with no panties
Want to get me
Well, if it features Usher, we all know it’s gonna be epic!
This club-worthy tune is a track made for the ladies that went on to peak at No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!
As it earned a gold certification, it was marked as Gucci’s highest charting single!
Featuring: Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams
Album: The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted
Released: 2010
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
I be sippin’ on haterade
That deep-down getcha paid
It tastes like lemonade
Scrunch your face when you see me paid
Pharrell Wiliams?
This track is bound to satisfy anyone as it comes popping on the intro with the Pharrell’s awesome voice!
Produced by The Neptunes, the track also features an appearance from the sexy Nicki Minaj.
I rest my case on this one!
Truly deserves the 5th spot!
Album: The State vs. Radric D
Released: 2009
Nominations: BET Hip Hop Award for People’s Champ
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
My phantom sittin’ on sixes, no 20’s in my gun
Your cutlass motor knockin’, because it is a lemon
I love dem Georgia-peaches, but you look more like a lemon
These sour apple bitter bitches, I’m not fuckin’ with ’em
Lemonade became a definitive classic of Guwop.
This thundering track that appeared on The State vs. Radric D is produced by Bangladesh.
It became a nominee for People’s Champ the BET HipHop award.
Here, he’s at the pinnacle of his cultural stake as an influencer.
Album: Everybody Looking
Released: 2016
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
I’m hearing shooters load pistols while I’m brushing my teeth
I get so many death threats it’s getting normal to me
But I bend don’t break, I don’t ask just take
Black gloves, black tape and I don’t play nor pray
Ahh.
This is it.
A must-have part of every Mane list.
This was his first drop as he was released from prison in 2016.
Within the first 24-hrs, it streamed with 1.1M views; a million gained just after 9 HOURS!
People doubted whether he was really the same person as before.
He was slimmer, healthier, and no doubt out for good!
He was at a high in his career – placing 1st for his “Black Beatles” single – first platinum record for “Both” and even a VMA.
It was the beginning of a new era for Gucci and his “FDOTF” was just a sample of what else he could now do!
Album: Trap House
Released: 2005
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Got a house around my neck, and my wrist on chill
Any given time, 250 in ya grill (a quarter million?)
All I do is talk shit, you can even add a couple grand for my outfit
You better act like ya know man, in my hood they call me Jeezy the Snowman
This breakout track appeared on his major label debut album.
It’s also the first glimpse of his beef with Young Jeezy.
Check this out:
This dispute started over a debate as to whose song this was to begin with!
Jeezy says he was never paid royalties for his verse.
Despite being enemies, they sure have great chemistry!
Earlier this year, a clip surfaced – released by Gucci declaring the cold war to be over!
We sure hope this truce lasts!
Featuring: Plies
Album: The State vs. Radric D
Released: 2009
Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap
Geeking like Whitney, geeking like Britney (Wasted)
Gucci no hippie, but he stoned like Jimmy (Jimmy)
X-pill poppers, geeked up crazy (Crazy)
Whole clique rolling, everyone’s wasted (Wasted)
We have at no. 1: WASTED, peaking on the Billboard Hot 100 at no. 36.
It was Gucci’s most cuss successful single before ”Black Beatles” came to play. It earned him Gold Status – finding success in The State vs. Radric Davis track listing.
From then, a handful of remixes came about and spun off the cut’s success.
It included talent like Lil Wayne, Birdman, and Jadakiss. The shuddering beat produced by FATBOI added even more.
Conclusion: 25+ Best Gucci Mane Songs, Albums, and Lyrics – All things Hip Hop
