Mike Nichols Movies: Mike Nichols is a director, producer, and screenwriter.

He was born in Berlin in 1931.

In 1938, he went to the US with his family to escape the Nazis. His first job in Hollywood is as a page at NBC.

He later became a comedy writer and performer on “The Steve Allen Show.” Nichols made his directing debut with the film “The Graduate” in 1967. The movie is a commercial success, winning Nichols the Best Director Academy Award.

Some of his’s other notable films include “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”

…”Catch-22,” “Silkwood,” and “Working Girl.”

Besides his Oscar…

….Nichols has won nine Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and three Tony Awards.

Additionally, in 2015, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

But we lost this legend in 2014 at the age of 83.

Storyline

Eventually leads to Honey having a nervous breakdown and leaving. Nick later tries to comfort Martha, and the two end up sleeping together.

But here’s the kicker…

The next morning, George tells Nick that he is leaving town and asks him to take care of Martha.

As George leaves, Martha tells him she has always loved him and always will…

…even though she knows he does not reciprocate her feelings.
