When it was released, Manhunter opened to mediocre reviews and did poorly at the box office, grossing only $8.6 million in the United states.

However, it has had a more positive reception in contribution to the study, as both the acting and the stylized aesthetics have been better appreciated in recent years.

Let me add more…

The story is about an FBI agent that gets called out of his retirement to catch a dangerous serial killer. Eventually, the FBI agent has to ask for the help of his archnemesis, Dr. Hannibal Lectar.

Brian Cox, who plays incarcerated serial killer Hannibal Lecktor, has also slammed the film’s title, calling it cheesy.

In preparation for the character of Will Graham, William Petersen spoke with officers from the Chicago Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Unit and readeir criminal files.
