Eddie Griffin Movies: Edward Rubin Griffin started his career as an actor and comedian in the United States. He was born on July 15, 1968.
Griffin was raised by his lone mother, Doris Thomas, when he was born in Kansas City, Missouri.
He came from a Jehovah’s Witness family.
He played Eddie Sherman on Malcolm & Eddie, the lead character in Undercover Brother in 2002, and T.J. Hicks in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.
He also played Orpheus in the 2003 movie Scary Movie 3 and gave Richard Pryor’s voice in the show Black Dynamite.
Malcolm-Jamal Warner, a co-star, and former “Cosby” child, also collaborated on writing the theme song.

Griffin was number 62 on the list of the 100 best stand-up comedians ever made by Comedy Central.
Griffin is also known for his advocacy of cannabis legalization. He has claimed that marijuana has helped him deal with anxiety and depression.

But when he meets his old flame Kate, Norbit realizes that he might be able to have the life he’s always wanted.
Norbit was released in 2007 to mixed reviews, but it was a box office success, grossing over $180 million worldwide.
Norbit was nominated for two Golden Raspberry Awards, for Worst Actor and Worst Supporting Actor.
Ooof.
It didn’t win either award, but it did receive a special “Razzie Redeemer Award” in 2008.
Also, Eddie Murphy gained 50 pounds to play Rasputia!
This is crazy…
The original script for Norbit was much darker and featured scenes of Norbit being abused by Rasputia.
In the end, these scenes were removed from the movie.
Norbit is a funny movie that is well worth seeing if you want to laugh aloud.

The Man is led by General Boutwell, who wants to keep blacks and other minorities from having any power in society.
Undercover Brother infiltrates The Man’s organization and dismantles it from the inside.
He discovers along the way that The Man is utilizing a brand-new tool called the “White Shadow” to manipulate the thoughts of black people.
Undercover Brother must stop The Man before they can use this weapon to take over the world.
This hit was released in the US on May 31, 2022.

Although the critics had conflicting opinions, it was a box office hit, earning $30 million globally.
Undercover Brother was nominated for two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Motion Picture and Outstanding Actor.
It brings on the stereotypes and has a fun side since this movie is filled with them and has full knowledge of them.

The Meteor Man was nominated for two NAACP Image Awards, including Best Motion Picture.
It also won the Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film.
