Boseman began his career as a stage actor, making his Broadway debut in Liz Mikelson’s play.
Chadwick Boseman’s career in the entertainment industry began on the stage.
Off-Broadway debut in “Hieroglyphic Graffiti” garnered him an Obie Award. He then starred in “Faust,” “Jesus Hopped the A Train,” and “Passing Strange” on Broadway.
“42” was Boseman’s breakout role, portraying Jackie Robinson.
His portrayal of the baseball great earned him praise, and he played James Brown in “Get On Up.”
Boseman’s other notable film roles include 42 (2013), Get on Up (2014), and Marshall (2017).
But Unfortunately…
Boseman, 43, passed away from colon cancer on August 28, 2020.
In 2016, he received a colon cancer diagnosis.
Boseman received the MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Hero and Saturn Award for Best Actor for Black Panther.

Marshall and Sam Friedman work on the case in Connecticut.
Laura Strubing’s husband threatens to have Marshall disbarred if he gets Spell’s charges reduced.
Marshall then decides to take the case to trial, despite the risk to his career.
At trial, Marshall can prove that Spell was not the one who raped Strubing but that her husband raped her.

Marshall is acquitted of raping Laura.
The film ends with a montage of Marshall’s eventual career and Supreme Court elevation.
Marshall is remarkable since it was directed by an African-American, not to mention its heartfelt and eye-opening story.
